ALNAP Urban Systems and Stakeholders research infosheet

Recent research and policy work have identified the importance of working within existing systems in urban humanitarian response and with local stakeholders. 

This research project seeks to present an understanding of urban systems and stakeholders by answering the following questions:

• What do we mean by urban systems and stakeholders?
• Who is trying to understand what about urban systems and stakeholders and how?
• Why is this understanding important?
• How effective are existing tools/guidance in providing information about urban systems and stakeholders?
